During its 25 year history, The Duncan Group has produced a significant library of material for national and international distribution including network broadcasts for PBS, HBO, Lifetime, Showtime, Sundance Channel, HBO Sports, Discovery, The Travel Channel and TLC. The company's work has been broadcast in more than 125 countries and has won more than 100 national and international awards for production.

The company has placed a significant emphasis on adventure, spirituality, history, biography, natural history and social issue programming. Producer Chip Duncan and a team of veterans that includes Bob Huck, Pat Ostermick and Tracy Dorsey all place significant value on stories from the developing world. The company has filmed in more than 30 countries and in wilderness areas around the world.

According to Duncan, “We didn’t set out to make films about ‘place’ – but it seems to have become a hallmark of what we do. In that sense, understanding ‘place’ helps us in our effort to build bridges among cultures and people around the world.”

Throughout its history, The Duncan Group has also put an emphasis on using original music and working with top composers. During the past 25 years, the company has built a significant relationship with Chris Spheeris (ChrisSpheeris.com), David Barrett (DavidBarrett.com) and Peter Buffett (PeterBuffett.com).
